The reason people usually tag their content is so that when people type these key words onto Google, Twitter or YouTube, they will be able to find the content they were looking for. When people tag their content, the tag has to have relation to the content that they are sharing.
To tag your blog posts in WordPress, all you have to do is go to your dashboard, click ‘posts’, click a post you need to tag and scroll down to the bottom of the page.
At the bottom of the page, just below categories, you will find a small box called Tags. To add your tags, you must type in key words related to your blog post in the small box. Remember, it is important to separate the tags with commas before pressing add so that the words don’t merge into gibberish. Once you click ‘Add’ the tags are made and you must update your blog so the changes made are saved.
