Uniform resource locator (URL):

What is it?

A uniform resource locator, commonly known as URL, is a way of addressing documents/ a specific webpage and provides a way to find a resource on the web. Every document on the Worldwide Web has a URL. For example, the URL for the website you can find more information about this on is this: http://searchnetworking.techtarget.com/definition/URL. If someone tells you to go on a specific website, such as the one used in my example, typing in the URL of the website in the search browser will automatically take you to the website you want to go on without getting you lost in the web constantly looking a multiple documents till you find the right one.

What is yours?

My URL is: https://digcomsystems.wordpress.com. Do you have a URL?
